AI is not intelligent enough to write novels. Yet.
One day it will be and will possibly even be able to produce novels to suit the vast majority of readers.
Yet. There will still be readers who do not wish an enjoyable read but prefer instead a challenge, those who, (for example) would read Peter Blake, Cixin Liu or Gregory Benford. Those that enjoy reading JP Sartre, Kafka and Bulgakov.
Unless AI grows exponentially which I suppose is possible eventually such feats are unlikely to be achieved by anything other than an organic mind.
The same applies to symphonies but sadly not to pop music, it seems to me, for the moment. I hope that changes.
