As some will be aware the "moonchild" crops up in a number of my books as do other faerie characters, When I first wrote of "her" I needed a complete innocent for the tale I was writing and she occured to me almost immediately. Noramally she appears only for short periods and has little influence on the story. Of course there is a boojk named after her "Moonchild and other Tales" where she appears often but I have never considered her a candidate for a novel. Most of my characters are much darker and have a deeper back-story. The moonchild cannot have, by her very nature. Yet when I completed "He, who is Lost" (which she also fleetingly appears in) I embarkjed almost immediaely on a novel about the moonchild. By it's nature it has to be innocent and lighter than I would normally write. I jkust wondered wither if anyone appeared on here who have read of her could tell me what they thinkj. It would be appreciated.
